My Kinda Party!

Last night I went to the My Kinda Party tour featuring Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan! It was so much fun, and the music was amazing.

Remember Lauren Alaina from American idol last year? She was the opener...and man, does she have a voice! She sang two of my favorites of hers, like my mother does and Georgia peaches. I'm not usually that excited about opening acts, but I got there early for this one!

We had box seats, and the view was perfect! Luke and Jason did some songs together and some apart. I really loved how they brought back some old country classics!

I think by far the funniest part of the night was when someone pulled the fire alarm in the arena! Jason and Luke took it in stride and just kept on going.

A fun surprise was definitely when Jason started singing Don't you want to stay? And Lauren sang Kelly Clarkson's part(in my opinion she was better!) it was a really cute duet!

Last night we set their record for attendance!! It was a sold out concert (over 50,000 people!)

For my outfit, I wore my Jcrew cigarette jeans, c&c California button down, and cowboy boots! (don't forget the pearls!

I had such a great night with my friend Émeline! Let me know if any of y'all are headed to one of their shows, it is worth it!

Eleven fun facts about me:

-I have three younger brothers who drive me crazy.

-I have two precious puppies, and I miss both of them when I'm at school (same as miss southern preps...i feel the same way) (:. 

-I dream of marrying a cute southern prep boy, and someone who shares my love for horses! (then again..who doesnt?!) 

-I get really good SAT scores even though i'm only 15...not sure why. 

-I live on Starbucks..but when i'm not there I love to try out new white teas at the local tea shop.

-I might spend some time this summer in the Hamptons...so excited! 

-One of my favorite foods is probably fried okra or fried green tomatoes...and trust me y'all if you want good ones go to Memphis, Nashville, or Charleston.  

-My guilty pleasure shows are Gossip Girl and Revenge...marry me chuck bass?

-My Tervis Tumblers never leave my side..i'm an obsessive water drinker.

-If I go to Vanderbilt I will be the 4th generation going there (: but there are other colleges i'm thinking about...Ole Miss for one? 

- I started blogging because Hopsy (Kappaprep) was my summer camp counselor 7 years ago..and I rediscovered her last year!! She is honestly so sweet.

I laI love my last name and wouldn't change it for anything. But I love the names Blakely, Sara Beth, and Collins.

I Probably sixth or seventh grade....just because I had braces.

MProbably either Proverbs 31:30 or Romans 1:17. 

8. When Someone Asks Me: "Does this make me look fat?" (and it does) what do you say?  

       It depends on who it is. My best friends and I are completely honest with each other so if I was with them I would say that does not fit AT ALL. But if I don't know them well, I will usually just tell them..are you sure you don't want to try that on in a bigger size? This stuff usually runs small.

9. Least Favorite Candy?

REither snickers or Twix...not a fan.

10. Coke or Pepsi? 

COKE!!!! why even ASK that?!

11. What is the best way to end a day?

      Snuggling up in bed with the puppies and playing my favorite music.

Being Sick Isn't Fun..

Hey y'all.. I'm sick):

It's that awful sinus sickness where you can't breathe through your nose, have a massive headache and a cough. The worst part?>I'm at school.

I have varsity tennis tryouts today so I just had to suck it up and come to school. I have a migraine so I am most definitely not paying attention right now in math class....but I am looking up inspirational quotes! (: so I will share them below:

OOTD: mlk day=busy morning!

It's official: I'm OBSESSED with the pic stitch app! It makes picking out an outfit so much more fun! So here is my outfit for today:

JCrew Haberdashery Button Down: I love this shirt. It is THE staple short for any outfit, and if I'm stuck and have no idea what to wear, this is what I'll put on.

American Eagle Shorts: I know, I know American Eagle?! Just to be clear..I don't shop there often at all! I bought these at a black friday sale because of their adorable salmon pink color!

My mom gave me this belt, so I have no idea where it is.

And the shoes: cork and gold jack Rodgers!

I just decided to put in my makeup for fun. All I am wearing today is Benefit It's Real! Mascara, Neutrogena concealer (it has built in eye cream & sunscreen YAY!!) and some Neutrogena lip gloss(:

OOTD: church!

So this is my 1st outfit of the day and I am VERY excited (: sorry that I didn't a picture of them on me because I had to do some hard core cleaning to do so I had to change. Here goes nothing!

The dress is the Lilly Pulitzer Cassie Slub dress! It is so comfy and is that type of dress that you want in every color.

Corso Como Richmond boots. These are my absolute favorite! The chocolate brown color goes with everything.

And for jewelry, I am wearing my pearls (no brainer) and my diamond cross necklace. Its really cool because on the back there is a ruby for good luck and prosperity!!

Oh..and if y'all are interested in knowing..right now I'm wearing Nike running shorts (hot pink with light pink mesh and bright blue trim) an old tshirt and some Tory Burch flip flops.

Ramblings about Sadie hawkins..

I have never used the blogger app..so here goes!

Here I am, Lilly tervis tumbler in hand, being annoyed to death by the Sadie Hawkins dance at my school.

If any of y'all don't know what sadies is, it is a girls ask boys dance where you make them a picnic lunch & wear western clothes (although I'm wearing a cute fluttery Lilly shirt with cowboy shoes) sounds fun right? Not really.

Well, I have something to say about the Sadie Hawkins Dance at my school...it's absolutely ridiculous. Girls have to totally go out of their comfort zone, and boys feel entitled AND thy have the nerve to even say no.

So...yes: I am asking someone to Sadie's. But am I happy about it? Not really.

This is just my opinion of course, but what else can I say? This is just dumb.

Movie Review: War Horse

I'm not a movie crier (well besides the notebook) but War Horse literally had me bawling. As a horseback rider, it is SO HARD to see those poor horses, even though it's just cgi. The acting was absolutely phenomenal. It felt so real. Plus the lead boy is a real cutie (; (he was actually featured in teen vogue!) If you want an emotionally raw and beautiful film, I would definitely reccomend this. As I am still crying 2 hours after the movie, equestriennes beware: you will cry. A LOT. And all non riders will too.

Hey y'all! I'm Adair. I am 15 years old and trying to make it through the cutthroat world of prep school. Although I am a born and raised Florida babe, I have lived in Alabama.
